Horse Image Not Showing? Here's How to Fix It

If your horse does not display its image in HorseMonitor, don't worry. In most cases, the issue can be resolved in just a few simple steps.

🐴 Step 1 – Temporarily Rename Your Horse

The fastest solution is to temporarily rename your horse using its exact Coat name.

For example:

✅ Appaloosa Snowflake ✅ Crimson Pinto ✅ Buckskin Splash

Once the horse is scanned again, HorseMonitor will attempt to identify the correct Coat and automatically assign the appropriate image.

Important: Use the official Coat name exactly as it appears in Amaretto.

📦 Step 2 – Use the Manual Data Object

If renaming the horse does not solve the problem, use the HorseMonitor Manual Data object included with your system.

Simply follow the instructions provided with the object.

This tool allows you to manually import information that Amaretto does not expose through its API, enabling HorseMonitor to complete the horse's profile.

ℹ️ Why Does This Happen?

The official Amaretto API does not provide every piece of information about a horse.

Because of this limitation, some horses may initially be missing:

🖼️ Coat image 🎨 Certain visual traits 🧬 Additional descriptive information

HorseMonitor uses several verification methods to complete these missing details whenever possible.

✅ Recommended Order 🐴 Rename the horse temporarily using its official Coat name. 🔄 Allow HorseMonitor to scan the horse again. 📦 If the image is still missing, use the Manual Data object. ✅ Wait for the next synchronization. 💡 Good to Know

Using the Manual Data object does not modify your horse in Amaretto.

It only enriches the information stored in HorseMonitor, allowing the system to display the correct image and additional details.

Happy breeding! 🐎
